"Long Island's own" K.T. Mills originally hails from Westchester, NY. The only daughter of a Broadway actress and musician K.T. was practically raised on the stage! She has studied at Ithaca College and in London.After numerous plays, musicals and TV commercials Katherine-Tara branched out in to radio. Her first on air gig was at WVOX, New Rochelle. Then it was on to several stations in Connecticut, including WCCC-Hartford. Since arriving at WALK in 1991, K.T. has come to love the people and places on Long Island.When not "on-air" or recording, K.T. enjoys reading, scuba-diving and "Sex and the City." Medieval history and astrology are also big interests. Recently, she was innovative in changing NY's laws on stalking - a feat K.T. remains proudest of. She resides with her felines Max and Luna, in Brookhaven. Ms. Mills would like to express heartfelt gratitude for her mentors: Ed St. James and Ed Zelle.
